Kirsty currently works for the Institute for Sports Research based at the High Performance Centre in Pretoria, Southern Africa. She was the strength and conditioning Sport Scientist for the ITF Centre in Pretoria, South Africa from 2008 to 2013. She studied at the University of Pretoria and has an honours degree in Sport Science and has completed research into the prevalence and types of injuries affecting adolescent tennis players based in South Africa.
